VICTORYASECRET at time of

Long
time client Victoria Linden and her trainer Chuck Jenda are having a
great summer (see Summers Peace). Their
mare VICTORYASECRET
(05 Victory Gallop-Miss Hot Salsa) won the $60,400 Luther Burbank H.
at Santa Rosa on July 31, 2011 as the favorite after having taken
the Alameda County Fillies & Mares Stakes on 6/26/11. She had wona
conditioned allowance race prior to that. She was unlucky to be 2nd in the Alameda County
H. in 2010 after winning two allowance races in a row, including one by 9 lengths. Her record to
8/4/11 is 18-8-3-0 $217,740.
Victoryasecret was a $49,000 purchase by Gayle Van Leer at the 2006 Keeneland
September sale. |

Victoria Linden and
trainer Chuck Jenda are also having great luck with their filly SUMMERS PEACE
(2006 f by Orientate out of Interval). After being stakes placed 3 times
she won the
Washington State Legislators Stakes at Emerald Downs on 6/12/11.
She has been consistent all along with a record that stands at
21-4-5-4
and earnings of $153,604 through 8/4/11. Summers Peace was a $40,000 purchase
by Gayle Van Leer at the 2007 Keeneland September Sale. |

PINK
LENINADE (09 filly Lemon Drop Kid/Soviet) Racing for the PL
Venures partnership which GVLTS is the managing partner won first
out at Hollywood Park on 5/1/11. Her subsequent 3 starts to 7/24/11
have been troubled due to her raw speed that we hope to rechannel
with a switch back to sprinting. We have confidence we will get this
filly on track and with some maturity she could be a good one. Her
2yr old 1/2 sister by Rahy named Zorja is also part of this
partnership and we are impressed how she is training. Look for her
later in the year. Gayle Van Leer purchased the dam of Pink Leninade
for client Kyoma Stables at the 2003 Keeneland November Sale for
$75,000 and did the mating that created both of these fillies along
with a yearling filly by Dixie Union that will sell at the 2011
Keeneland September Sale. The mare is a 100% producer with all three
of her foals winners. We expect Zorja to also join that group. |

 IZSHELEGAL
(with Gayle Aug 2010) |

IASHELEGAL
(08 filly Maria's Mon/Unkatzable by A.P. Indy) has shown herself to
be a filly of some quality but has frustrated her connections by
remaining a maiden despite already becoming graded stakes placed. At
2 she was 2nd in the Landaluce Stake, 3rd in the
G3 Sorrento stake, then finished a troubled 4th
just missing 3rd in the G1 Del Mar Debutante. After
the G1 Oak Leaf Stake where she was 4th, her connections, 3R3 Racing
and trainer Terry Knight were still confident enough in her ability
that they made the trip to the 2010 Breeder's Cup where she was
unplaced. After some freshening, this year at 3 she got her maiden
broken on 8/10/11 to put her record to
8/10/11 at 10-1-2-2 with earnings of $131,000.
She was a $130,000 purchase at the 2009 Keeneland September sale. |

ARRESTING
OFFICER (2008 colt,
Officer-Gold Roses) broke his maiden first time out in the fall of
his two year old year and came right back in the California Breeders
Champion Stake where he was 2nd. After some time off he made his
first 2011 appearance late in the Hollywood Park meet where he was
unplaced. He bounced back out of that dissappointing effort to run a
solid 2nd his next start sprinting on the grass at Del Mar.
Arresting officer was a $47,000 purchase at the Keeneland 2009 sale
and has already earned his owner, S N R Investments $57,350 from 4
starts, plus an additional $20,000 Cal Bred Maiden Bonus for
winning a maiden allowance race. He looks to have a promising future
for his owner and his trainer Mike Machowsky. |

ROYAL F J (06 G Royal Academy-Perpetual Motion
by Kingmambo) continues to add to his earnings for the La Canada
Stable and their trainer Jack Carava. Third in the 2010 G2
Del Mar Derby, clearly his lifetime earnings would be much higher if
he had not fallen in a "seconditis" rut prior to breaking his
maiden. His lifetime record to 8/4/11 is 20-1-9-4 for earnings of
$171,710. He was a $110,000 at the 2007 Keeneland September sale. |

We are eagerly awating numerous 2yr and 3yr olds soon to make their
first starts. Check back for future updates. |

The exploits of RUNAWAY DANCER (99 g Runaway Groom-Salsa Dancer)

stayed in training so long are quite rewarding.

for his connections, he found
his place in distance races on the turf. This horse was a model of
consistency racing through his 8 year old season while earning
