Looking every bit like a future Kentucky Derby prospect after his 2nd in the G1 American Pharoah Stakes at Santa Anita in October of 2019 and also an early favorite for the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile, the heartache of a shin injury dashed the Breeders’ Cup plans. After some time off and one disaster of a start in the Rebel Stake at Oaklawn Park when he was rank and ran off chasing the eventual winner Nadal, the same shin injury reoccurred dashing all hope for what looked to be a very exciting year in 2020 for this very talented horse.  He is now enjoying some time off for the injury to heal. Look for him to make a reappearance in late fall. We were thrilled with how AMERICAN THEOREM won his first start at Del Mar on 8/31/19. He had been training fabulously and lived up to those expectations with an impressive score over a much hyped field.  A big congratulations to his connections, owner Kretz Racing LLC and his trainer George Papaprodromou along with his hard working crew.
